Hi everyone,

Recently I was back in NZ and drove from Christchurch to the West Coast.

I've driven this road hundreds of times, and never once did I take any notice of this location until now - after I started RC Crawling.

I'm keen to take my rig next time and check it out.

I thought I might look at camping up there one weekend and checking the whole place out over a couple of days.

I've chatted to a couple of NZ'ers on RCC. They haven't surfaced here yet...

I'm still keen to hit this spot next time I'm over in NZ to have a play, it just looks like it has soo much potential....might be different up close...

Never been to the south island....

Kinda reminds me of some areas around Lake Copeton up near inverell - shorter drive too.
