im looking to convert my scx10 to leaf sprung does any one no if any one does a kit for this? BMT?

RC Bros, mate! I looked at them when I was running the 40 but my chassis mounted servo kit would not be compatible. You want : http://cart.rcbros.com/product_info.php/rcbros-scx10-leaf-spring-conversion-p-195 There is a different kit for the Honch.

Actually Chris, I believe I have a set of RC4WD medium soft (black) that I won't be using in the immediate future (meaning I can get another set later).

The black rc4wd mediums are the go. I use them on my WW highlift fj40! & they work really well, not to soft and not to firm. I just run the main leaf spring and after a few runs they flex nicley. From my experiance the red leafs are good but get softer with use and eventually flatten and if you jamb a wheel in a hole or rut its easy to bend or twist them.

As you witnessed Jonesy , The red ones arn't very strong .... Too soft for the snake pit .......
